  • Notizen
    • On May 10, 2006, Kyle Lee Staheli was killed for his car. 2 PoC named Swuave Lopez and James Carter asked Kyle for a ride, during which Swuave shot Kyle multiple times. Leaving the body in the desert, the two boys drove home. But they returned the next day with gasoline and burned the remains.

Swuave and James were soon tracked down by detectives. During his arrest, Swuave broke loose and tried to flee but was killed by officers in what was later ruled a justified shooting. Nevertheless, the boy's family sued the police, seeking millions of dollars in damages. James was tried and acquitted of Kyle's murder, due in part to his limited intelligence and youthful appearance; a judge in the case remarked, "this kid looks like he's about 12."
