A correspondent informs us, that, on the 22d ult., a youth by the name of John Snoots, was drowned in the dam of the Taylorstown mills, in the German Settlement, in this County. He and a younger brother were passing near the dam on horseback, when the horse stumbled and, pitched into the water, throwing the two youths off. The elder brother is supposed to have lost his life, in the noble effort to save his younger brother.---Leesburg Washingtonian:
(The younger brother would have been Charles.)
